This live performance art piece was presented at SoA Gallery, June 2016. It was created in response to the Men's Health article Anatomy of a Perfect Women, published in December 2012. This article presents an image of different women cut up and pasted together to form the 'perfect women' to date. It describes, what they believe, is the perfect women; a collage of multiple people cut and stuck together and an unrealistic portrayal of beauty. In my performance I recreated a life size eatable women out of food such as mashed potato and cake. Each of the mentioned parts of the body in the article were cut up, plated, and served to the audience to consume. At the end of the performance I cut out a gelatin heart from the body, ate it, and presented it in a display cabinet.
